Join the staff and families of Tomorrow River Community Charter School for an evening of fun at their annual Spring Fling on May 11, at Camp Helen Brachman in Almond. The festivities will begin at 5:30 p.m. with games, a silent auction, appetizers, drinks, and entertainment. Dinner will begin at 7 p.m. and will include salad and entrees (including vegan and gluten-free options). Attendees will get to participate in games during dinner, a funding appeal, and dessert buffet. The after-party begins at 9 p.m. with music by Sloppy Joe, dancing, drinks and more games. “All are invited to join TRCCS for this magical springtime event,” said founder and school coordinator, Chamomile Nusz.
“TRCCS is excited to announce our expansion into middle school classes in the fall of 2019 for grades 5th and 6th grades. The middle school will grow one grade per year until children reach 8th grade. Since our opening, we have known that all students could not fit at CWES and have been working on plans for expansion,” said Nusz. The school looked into purchasing land across from the Central Wisconsin Environmental Station, where the school is currently housed, but there is no land available to purchase. Research of other suitable sites is underway. “We have two sites that would both need renovations to make them suitable for the 2020/21 school year. And we’re counting on generous supporters to help fund this endeavor,” said Nusz.
Tickets for the event are available online at brownpapertickets.com (search TRCCS Spring Fling 2019) or go to the TRCCS website at trccs.org.
