Please join us for a Community Breakfast at the Central Wisconsin Environmental Station (CWES), on October 30, from 8:45 a.m. to 10 a.m. We welcome the local community and our partners to hear more about two major updates this year: “Forest Restoration at CWES” and “Year 5 of the Tomorrow River Community Charter School.” In partnership with UWSP faculty and students, CWES is currently undergoing a timber harvest to open the canopy and increase plant diversity. Come learn about the changes we will see in our beautiful forest, and hear how a timber harvest improves forest health and diversity. 2017 marks the 5th year of partnership between CWES and the Tomorrow River Community Charter School (TRCCS). Enrollment continues to grow, students are spending valuable time outside, and partnerships with the community are strong. We are looking for local community partners and corporate and philanthropic partners who could share our vision as we plan for our expansion in the future.
We will serve breakfast in Sunset Lodge at 8:45 with presentations on both topics at 9 a.m., followed by tours at 10 o’clock of both the forest and TRCCS.
RSVP today by calling 715- 346-2730 or email at email@example.com
This year’s TRCCS Holiday Faire fundraiser will be on Sunday, December 3, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
TRCCS has a deep commitment to nurturing our community's economy by providing local artists, craftspeople, performers, farmers, and entrepreneurs a space to share their talents. Our Holiday Faire is an event that does just that. All interested vendors please contact the TRCCS office at 715-346-2730 or firstname.lastname@example.org. Amazing vendors make an amazing event.
The TRCCS Holiday Faire is held on the wooded campus of the Central Wisconsin Environmental Station. For this event, the campus is transformed into a magical holiday village featuring local and statewide artisans, live entertainment, children’s activities, costumed characters, a kids-only store, lunch, sweet treats, and more!
